What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it?

When you visit the Simbeyond website, general information is collected (in other words, not by means of registration) which is not used as personal related data. The web servers that are used store the following data by default:

  • Main Language of the browser being used (Accept-Language header)
  • User Agent of the browser being used (User-Agent header)
  • Random unique Visitor ID
  • Time of the first visit for this user
  • Time of the previous visit for this user
  • Number of visits for this user

Simbeyond uses cookies to enable monitoring and analysis of web traffic and can be used to keep track of User behavior. Additional data collected through cookies: 

  • Time spent on each page of the website
  • Type of web browser
  • Type of operating system (OS)
  • Errors when users fill out forms
  • Referring site details (such as the URI a user came through to arrive at this site)

This information is analyzed only in an anonymous form. It is used for the purpose of improving the attractiveness, content, and functionality of our website, marketing campaigns and promotional efforts. Where data is passed on to external service providers, we will observe the applicable data protection regulations.

What personal information do we store?

If you submit a subscription form on our site you will be opting in for us to save your name, email address and other relevant information. These subscriptions are used to notify you about product updates, related content, discounts & other special offers. You can opt out or unsubscribe at any time in the future by clicking the link in the bottom of any email.

When you request a product trial on our website, you are providing a name and email address that we will use to contact you. User input data sent through the contact forms is stored on the third party website, along with meta information about the submissions, including the time stamp, the origin IP address, and the user agent (browser).

When you apply for a vacancy at Simbeyond you are providing your CV and personal information. This information will only be used to evaluate your candidacy for the position and will not be passed to any other party unless required by law.

How long do we keep the information?

We don’t set a particular time limit on storing information for subscriptions because we need it for future reference. If you want your information to be removed from our database, please contact us. We will remove it anytime there are concerns about your privacy.

Any other personal information including job applications is stored for 1 year after which it is removed from our database. If you wish for your personal information to be removed earlier, please contact us. We will remove it anytime there are concerns about your privacy.

Do we share the information with other parties?

No, although we do use some WordPress plugins and Google Analytics on this website that may pass data, including personal information, to external servers to process.

Wordpress plugins

Simbeyond uses Wordpress plugins such as ContactForm7 or Jetpack by WordPress.com. We only use WordPress plugins and themes that are hosted by WordPress.org. WordPress.org’s guidelines clearly prohibit tracking users without their explicit informed consent.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics (Google Inc.) is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). As a user navigates between web pages, Google Analytics provides website owners JavaScript tags (libraries) to record information about the page a user has seen, for example the URL of the page. Google may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.
